Creatures and Beasts mod simply lives up to its name. It adds several new creatures and beasts. They're pretty wild and exotic and can be found in different biomes and dimensions, the mod was quite popular back then, but for a while, the author decided to take a break. Hence, the mod was stuck at the 1.16.5 version; now, Creatures and Beasts has finally received its 1.19.2 update! It can run on the latest Minecraft releases with no issues.
From the various mobs this mod adds, there are:
The Yetis:
The Yetis spawn in cold and snowy areas, and they're passive-aggressive, meaning they won't attack you unless you approach their baby or you hit them; Yetis can be tamed using strawberries; the baby Yeti you gave life to will not follow you, but will protect when being attacked. If you decided you don't like the Yeti, and you killed it, it will drop a Yeti antler which can be used to craft bone meal, or it could drop the Yeti hide, which can be used to enhance armors by 1% for each hide, and the maximum is 5%.
End Whales:
These heavenly creatures spawn on end, and they look magnificent; if you loved the end whale (which should be the case), it is possible to attract them and tame them using chorus fruit, then you could saddle them up and ride them, this way you'll experience the most pleasing experience, as you'll be flying on the beautiful empty sky of the end without fearing to fall on the void and die.
Cactems:
Cactems spawn on desert biomes, and yes, the name is a combination of totem and cactus; the reason their name was formulated this way is their deep desire for the totems, the cactems spawn in tribes, and it is the worst idea to try and hurt a member of the tribe because then you'll have to endure dozens of spears thrown at you; When bumping into a tribe, you'll notice that there's an elder cactem amongst them, this is the leader of the tribe, if you give this elder Cactem a totem, there's that whether you're going to receive, a dead bush (which is the worst case scenario), or dozens of emeralds, or the best chance is receiving a healing book, this book will passively give you regeneration 1, for a couple of seconds whenever you're damaged, and the book never wears off or break, to get a higher healing level, it is possible to combine two books in an anvil.
Sporelings:
Sporlings are very cute; when spawned in the overworld, the sporlings that spawn in the nether are not very friendly and will attack for no reason, so let's get back to the overworld sporelings; they're pretty peaceful and won't harm you at all even if you strike them, they can be tamed using bone meal when tamed, they will be in help, if you have any cursed armors, pass it to the sporlings. They'll gladly repair it at the cost of a few durability points; they can also turn dirt into mycelium, they're very loyal, and they will follow. Still, if you feel like they're very slow, no worries, craft a sporelings backpack and put the little guy in the back; it's so adorable and will ease traveling; it is also possible to change the shape of your sporelings by naming them one of the following names:
ListaCalista / Bit0 / yungwilder / Goomy / Shrimp snail
In conclusion, the Creatures and Beasts mod is a very harmless and aesthetic addition to have around your world and will beautify your experience as a player.
