Untamed wilds mod opens the opportunity for a wild experience filled with dynamic and lively animals, all of which are spread worldwide in different biomes and locations; for instance, you'll come across rhinos in the savanna; these guys are passive-aggressive, meaning they won't cause any harm unless you touched their baby or hit them, then they'll butt you and send you flying; other animals on the list, we've got the camels, these guys are entirely chill, they won't attack you even if you did so be gentle with them, you could ride them. Still, I didn't manage to for some reason, and I'm sure you'll figure it out! They're found commonly in the desert and usually walk in groups; last examples I have for you guys are the aquatic creatures; once you dip into the deep ocean, you'll no longer see salmons or cod, and a variety of new animals will start appearing, some are peaceful and only wander around the sea, others will tear you apart if you get too close to them, so be careful; there are many other animals on the Untamed Wilds mod, but these are the most notable in my opinion.
General Features:
All mobs/features are created as part of Worldgen. They also do not respawn (outside of specific circumstances and breeding/growing)
Mobs featured in this list encompass a multitude of Species; Species are dynamically assigned to each Biome depending on its features from a list of weighted entries, providing out of the box compatibility.
Smaller mobs can be picked up (depending on the mob) to ease their transportation, larger mobs need to be transported by using Cage Traps.
While the default parameters aim to be "believable", a plethora of Config options allow the user to replicate Vanilla behaviours (such as breeding being triggered through the favourite item)
A very WIP guidebook is provided through Patchouli (book + any piece of hide). Content in the book has been generated from data sourced from Wikipedia, processed through the NLTK Python library and manually edited.
