I have spent over 2 years working on this project to ensure there is a lot of effort in every little aspect from visuals to functionalities, as well as having the most optimised code possible. All this - just to provide a pleasing experience for you guys. Please enjoy :)

This high-quality addon adds 12 new vehicles called 'Minecars' as well as 7 wagons for more customisation. They may look like minecarts, but they are fuel-powered and can move without rails! 

Each of them has unique functionality and niche in the Minecraft world, from lighting, transporting cargo to mining ores, constructing railways, blasting fishes, ramming mobs, and even upgrades! They used groundbreaking and pioneering (in 2022) coding techniques, like the mining cooldown, scoreboard storage & retrievement in stacks, ram seating, chest opening & closing animations, tilting animations, id-based teleportation, variable-based hurting animation, exploding debris... and more! All this, WITHOUT experiments!

General Information (applied to all minecars / wagons):

  • NEEDS FUEL!!! Fuel the car by interacting with fuel: coal / charcoal / coal block / lava / planks / stairs / logs, stripped logs / hay block / kelp block / logs / blaze rod
  • can be repaired by iron ingots
  • tools (if any) can be removed by tearing off with a hoe
  • can be picked up by punching it while sneaking
  • can be boosted for 3 seconds using "firework rockets"
  • takes about 3 secs to accelerate. Tool of some minecars (eg: rammer) only work after acceleration
  • gives riders resistance 

🞍 NEW: Banner Customisation

BANNERS

Want to look like the illager minecars?

  • to attach a banner, throw it onto a minecar (make sure to enable Mob Griefing). If it fails to attach, try throwing it at a different angle/location.
  • ANY designs on the banner will appear on the minecar, allowing 100% banner customisation!
  • not available on balloon minecars & illager minecars :(
HOW IT WORKS

When a banner is thrown on the ground, the minecar picks it up like how zombies pick up items. This is why you need to turn on Mob Griefing.

The banner that is picked up is then repositioned and rescaled using animations (which took me 24+ hours to make it precise) so that it appears on the back of the minecar seamlessly. Since the banner on the car uses the SAME texture as the banner item, any designs that you made in a loom will appear on the minecar (first vehicle addon to do so!!!)

-Tilt according to terrain steepness

🞍 Explosions & Debris

Dynamic Explosions!

-All minecars explode into pieces when they have 0.5 hearts or lower.

-Before exploding, the minecar will shake vigorously for 1 sec, allowing you to escape!

-Fatal fall damage causes the minecar to explode instantly.

-The explosion deals 12 - 15 hearts of damage (depends on difficulty)

-In creative mode, explosions can be disabled by executing [/function doMinecarExplode_false] in a command block.

Debris

Which minecars do you think these debris belonged to?

-Each minecars has unique debris

-Debris can be scavaged by punching them

-Most minecar debris drop Scrap Metal, unless they are highly damaged (drops nothing)

-Scrap Metal can be smelt back into iron ingot

 

 

'Gondola'  Balloon MineCar

  • "compound entity" (two entities attached together to act as one). This will create some bugs, including: player sitting on the wrong seat if the riding entity gets destroyed, as well as not being able to go through portals
  • add "minecar balloon envelope" & inflate to enable flying
  • the balloon is a separate entity (8 heart points, will pop when killed, immune to damage when deflated)
  • look up to fly upwards, look down to fly downwards
  • can drop water / lave / anvil / tnt
  • can switch between "hover" & "fly" modes by punching the car (left-click/tap screen)
  • can be dyed with 15 different colors
  • CANNOT attach wagons

  • no real purpose, just for FUN!
  • you can dye the flag into 15 different colors; 15 different teams!
  • CANNOT be used to attach wagons
  • when crashes with other bumper minecars/slimes/magma cubes, they bounce backwards
  • slow crash = short bounce; fast crash = long bounce

'Spirit'  Soul Lantern MineCar

  • scare away piglins!
  • absorb the soul of mobs (except player) within a 3-block radius and give them weakness II

  • has soul speed enchantment, it doesn't get slowed down by soul sand like other vehicles!
  • can be enchanted with a lingering potion to grant the specific effect to all players within a 3-block radius

 

 

'Rammer'  Spike-shovel MineCar

Ramming Feature:

  • when ramming (driving above 7m/s), mobs can become stuck onto the shovel and take constant damage depending on the tier of minecar (no upgrade: 3 hearts/tick)
  • mobs will be detached when the minecar has no driver
  • mobs will leave a bloodstain, which can be washed off by driving into water/rain

Ramming Feature Extension:

  • you can add the "Shovel Arms" accessory
  • increases the capturing range by 3 blocks so you can ram mobs further away!
  • available for all upgrade tiers & default tier
  • Recipe for Shovel Arms:

Shovelling Feature:

  • sneak and interact to lower the shovel
  • turns grass, rooted dirt, mycelium, podzol => grass path
  • turns dirt, coarse dirt => farmland
  • when the shovel is lowered, ramming does not work
  1. To create 1 block wide paths, drive sideways
  2. To create 2 blocks wide paths, drive in between the two blocks
  3. To create 3 blocks wide paths, drive on the middle block

🞍 when ramming, you can jump to activate the METEOR DASH ability!

How to Upgrade!

Step1: Use any hoe to interact and tear off the existing tool from a minecar.

Step2: Sneak and punch the minecar to pick it up.

Step3: Upgrade the tool in a crafting table.

Step4: Combine the upgraded tool with a default minecar in the crafting table.

 

 

'Chestnut'  Chest MineCar

Yes, and it opens!

-has a CHEST(nut), no big deal

-has the inventory of a chest

"best for mining expeditions!"

  • can mine blocks that generate naturally (but NOT: crafting table, stairs, iron block to prevent player accidentally destroying their base)
  • has dynamic lighting!
  • drill can be turned on/off
  • breaks 2x2 hole
  • breaks hard blocks (stone/blackstone) slower, has camerashake
  • cannot break extremely hard blocks (obsidian/end stone/deepslate)
  • damage mobs 3 hearts per tick

Cooldown Feature:

  • cooldown lasts 5 seconds
  • occurs after mining hard blocks continuously for about 12 seconds

NEW Plunging Feature:

  • occurs when falling from a high place
  • allows you to mine VERTICALLY!
  • types of upgrade & distance of fall affect the plunge
    • 4 blocks fall = damage nearby entities by 10 hp, breaks 2 blocks downwards
    • 7 blocks fall = damage nearby entities by 24 hp, breaks 4 blocks downwards, replace deepslate ➔ cobbled deepslate; stone ➔ cobblestone; cobble ➔ gravel; sandstone ➔ sand; grass/path/podzol/mycelium ➔ dirt
    • 10 blocks fall = damage nearby entities by 30 hp, breaks 6 blocks downwards, replace deepslate ➔ cobbled deepslate; stone ➔ cobblestone; cobble ➔ gravel; sandstone ➔ sand; grass/path/podzol/mycelium ➔ dirt
    • for Netherite Boi Upgrade, falling >= 7 blocks create a fire ring on the ground

How to Upgrade!

Step1: Use any hoe to interact and tear off the existing tool from a minecar.

Step2: Sneak and punch the minecar to pick it up.

Step3: Upgrade the tool in a crafting table.

Step4: Combine the upgraded tool with a default minecar in the crafting table.

 

 

"Blaster"  Shooter MineCar

  • "compound entity" (two entities attached together to act as one). This will create some bugs, including player sitting on the wrong seat if the riding entity gets destroyed, as well as not being able to go through portals
  • can shoot 7 different kinds of projectiles
  • to fire manually, use any projectiles to interact while riding
  • to let the gun fire automatically, load it with projectiles (see below)
  • 999 shots can be instantly reloaded using [/function reload_gun]
  • projectiles can be retrieved by interacting with an empty hand or pick up the minecar

Modes & Projectiles:

Projectiles Available

1. Multi-shot Arrow

  -use vanilla arrows

  -cheap and versatile

 

2. Fire Charge

  -use vanilla fire charges

Never use this mode in a forest...

 

3. Cannonball / 4. Explosive Cannonball

  -uses Cannonballs / Explosive Cannonballs

  -the explosive version can destroy your terrain, but the normal version can't

(replace the TNT with an iron ingot to craft the normal cannonball)

5. Missile

  -doesn't get destroy upon impact on entities (has piercing)

  -doesn't get affected by gravity

 

6. Debuff Bomb

  -spawn area-of-effect clouds (slowness, weakness, poison, harming)

  -give instant blindness & nausea for entities < 8 blocks

  -crafted with lingering potions (slowness, weakness, poison, harming)

7. Ice Bomb

 -spawn 2x2 frost ice cube

 -water bomb?

"Mailbox"  Constructor MineCar

  • "compound entity" (two entities attached together to act as one). This will create some bugs, including player sitting on the wrong seat if the riding entity gets destroyed, as well as not being able to go through portals
  • very slow, but still faster than the player
  • has 6 modes, each places different blocks: rail, powered rail, torch, packed ice, bone meal, Cobblestone Generator
  • to enable Mode6, interact the machine with a" Minecar Constructor Cobblestone Generator"

How to Use:

  • punch (left-click/tap screen) the machine with empty hands to activate/deactivate. You can also by interacting with the minecar while riding
  • cannot activate if all modes have 0 stocks
  • interact the machine to switch between the 6 modes, you CANNOT switch to modes with 0 stocks
  • ONLY when deactivated, stocks can be reloaded
  • ONLY when deactivated, stocks can be retrieved by sneaking and interacting with empty hands
  • 999 all stocks can be instantly reloaded using [/function reload_railplacer]

The 6 Modes:

Modes Available

Mode1: Normal Rail

🞍 consumes rail stocks

🞍 places rails for minecarts to travel

🞍 please use this machine on flat surfaces, and don't drive sideways!

 

Mode2: Mixed Rail

🞍 consumes both rail & powered rail stocks

🞍 places normal rails most of the time, but switches to powered rails about every 30 blocks (minecarts require boosting from powered rails as it slows down about every 30 blocks)

🞍 when all the powered rail stock has been consumed, it will automatically switch back to Mode1. very smart

Please use this machine on flat surfaces, and don't drive sideways!

 

Mode3: Torch

🞍 consumes torch stocks

🞍 places torches about every 9 blocks, or at places where light level is below 4

 

Mode4: Freezer

"Who says cars can't cross lava oceans?"

🞍 consumes packed ice stocks about every 10 blocks

🞍 freezes water into ice/lava into magma/extinguishes fire

🞍 when there is no water/lava, your packed ice is discharged as ice bits and wasted. Remember to turn it off, just like your air conditioner!

 

Mode5: Bone Meal

🞍 consumes bone meal stocks about every 3 blocks

🞍 turn dirt into grass block in 3x3 area

🞍 grow grass on grass block in 3x3 area

🞍 increase crops growth in 3x3 area (includes wheat, potato, carrot, beetroot, pumpkin/melon stem)

 

Mode6: Cobblestone Generator

🞍 to enable this mode, use a "Minecar Constructor Cobblestone Generator" to upgrade the machine (interact with the machine, NOT the minecar)

🞍 does not consume any item

🞍 place a 2x2 area of cobblestone below the minecar only if it is an air block

🞍 a fast method of bridging

===== The Illager Minecars =====

Think you're invincible after having the minecars? Nope, this technology isn't unique to the players, illagers also have them! Where do they get them? How do they learn to drive?? And why can they customise their own minecars???

Currently, RandomKerbal's Institute does not have much intel about their hot-road-styled minecars. One day they just raided our base and stole our minecar designs, just like those other pesky addon-stealing websites https://mcpehub.org/https://mc-addons.com/https://minecraft-pocket.com/https://mcdlhub.com/https://monster-mcpe.com/,and millions more... Yeah, crush them like how u destroy the illagers! They spawn in "raids" or rarely in your world with an illager as the rider, spawning can be disabled. Using ranged weapons (like minecar shooter) is the most effective way against them.

How to disable:

Click on the "gear" icon in the Behavior Pack. ez

 

Illager's Default MineCar

  • spawns most commonly
  • damage resistant
  • deals 1 heart damage consistently

Ramlager MineCar

  • damage resistant
  • deals 3 heart damage consistently
  • can ram you onto the shovel (there's a secret way to get off)
  • OUTRUNS PLAYER

Drillager MineCar

  • sometimes spawns underground
  • damage resistant
  • deals 3 heart damage consistently
  • can break 2x2 blocks
  • can damage player's minecars
  • AVOID AT ALL COST

Illager's Kamikaze MineCar

  • only spawns in raids
  • only spawns with vindicator/pillager (due to AI pathfinding bug)
  • actively seek houses to blow, then runs away after dropping TNT
  • will ignite TNT if illager is killed by player with melee attacks

 

 

===== The Wagons =====

 

If you want more functionalities for your Minecar, feel free to add some wagons!

There are two ways to spawn the wagons:

  1. use the spawn eggs in the Creative Inventory (only for creative mode)
  2. use their respective items (couplers) to interact with the Minecar.
  • Note: You can attach the wagons to the Minecar using their respective items (wagon couplers), but NOT the spawn eggs. You can find both in the Creative Inventory, just make sure you use the correct one.

To remove the attachments (eg: chest, hopper) from a wagon, use any hoes to interact and tear them off.

 

Passenger Wagon

  • carry 1 player/mob
  • throw a Shulker Box onto it to transform into a Shulker Wagon

Recipe:

 

Shulker Wagon

  • "compound entity" (two entities attached together to act as one). This will create some bugs, including player sitting on the wrong seat if the riding entity gets destroyed, as well as not being able to go through portals
  • to interact with the Shulker Box, aim at the top part
  • when destroyed, the Shulker Box will keep its inventory and drop itself (better than Chest Wagons!)
  • dropped Shulker Box will not despawn
  • dropped Shulker Box can be put back on wagons, minecarts & boats!
  • use any hoes to interact with the Shulker Box to tear them off

 

NEW: Campfire / Soul Campfire Wagon

  • 100% functional portable cooker
  • can load a 4x4 chunk around it
  • campfire texture is customisable with other texture packs! (it uses the same texture as the block)
  • unlike campfires, soul campfires are not extinguished by rain/splash potions

  • explodes from fall damage, nearby explosions, or fire
  • for kamikaze / trolling other players

Flatbed Wagon

  • carry up to 2 entities when deployed
  • can be deployed/retracted
  • when deployed, hitting it will cause the entities it is carrying to be ejected

Coffin Wagon

  • fire immune
  • reduces all damage by 20% (like Netherite Drill Minecar)
  • you can close the doors and hide inside!

Trust me, no one's gonna see you... 

  • when hiding, you are immune to all damage

Note: Due to a bug where wearing armor overrides the "resistance" effect, you must take off ALL your armor when hiding inside

  • you can dye the carpet into 15 different colours!
  • dyed with glow squid ink...
Sleeping Feature

🞍 you can sleep/wake up by interacting with it while hiding

Note: using an item (charging bows, eating foods) will also cause the player to interact with the entity in front, making you sleep/wake up.

🞍 works in multiplayer!

🞍 There are 5 different scenarios where the player cannot sleep. Each comes with its unique "anti-sleep message" - Find them all! :)

 

Never sleep in the Nether or End... or you will know why it's called "coffin"

Wagon Teleportation Feature!

-all wagons will teleport to their connected Minecar if they are too far away (about 16-18 blocks)

-since it uses an "ID" system, it is recommended not to have too many caravans in one world
