A New MCPE Shader has been released, yes you read that right, an MCPE Shader, at first glance you'd think that this is an RTX shader for bedrock, but it's not a shader for Minecraft PE; Poggy's Luminous Dreams sparked as one of the very few, if not the only shader, to have Java shaders features such as Volumetric lighting, colored light, dynamic shadows and MORE!
- Light scattering between Leaves (yes, really!):
With Poggy's Luminous Dreams, any god rays will scatter their way through leaves and any blocks to reach the floor surface; this feature looks especially jaw-dropping when it's early in the morning since at the time, the sunbeams are at their peak.
- Voxelization (Colored lights):
With this shader, you could also expect to have some voxelization going on; what this nerd term means is that lights from sources such as soul torches, redstone torches, and so forth, will have a colored lighting based on their original color tint, this is a feature originally carried out by the Java shader "Rethinking Voxels" and it's honestly absurd to see it in the pocket edition of the game.
- Dynamic Shadows (everything has shadows now, including the player!):
With Luminous Dreams, not only does the sunlight scatter between blocks, but through players as well, whenever an entity is faced with the sunlight, it will leave behind a shadow, I don't know if you're familiar with it but this happens in real life as well!
