I'm sorry to hear that you can't find the mineshaft. When I found this I was in 0.10.0 and in infinite! If you have another version I am sorry that you can't get the mineshaft. If you are in 0.10.0 and infinite maybe dig deeper?!
There isn't a mineshaft -.-
