for the 256x and higher resolutions
Optimum Realism is a new resource pack with drastic quality; POM merge, connected textures, and 3D models, don't be misled by this graphics, though, because, despite this absurd realism, Optimum is still Performance Flexible and not impossible to run, unlike other textures from the same category and with the exact resolution (2048x).
Currently, Optimum Realism is still a working project. Hence, it still lacks many new blocks, but this doesn't mean it's unsuitable for survival players. According to the latest updates of this pack, the vast majority of the survival and foliage assets are textured by now. That being the case, Optimum Realism is somewhat acceptable for survival gameplay regardless of the missing blocks and entities. But we can't decline the obvious. The more blocks the pack covers, the more it'll lag; consequently, Optimum Realism won't work on your old laptop. This demanded a capable PC to run it, so the case for you.
Guys, we advocate you to use it alongside shaders that support Lab PBR like BSL or KAPPA.
We also like to let you know that the pack costs a Patreon pledge, and only the 128x version is free. Thus, you'll be compelled to spear a few dollars if you want to experience this pack's real beauty, which is the 2048x.
To summarise, Optimum Realism is a fantastic-looking pack. The pack seems to get updated regulatory, but as the case for the majority, if not all the realistic resource pack, it comes with an expenditure of both money and PC power, on the other hand, you will experience something wholly unique and eye-opening; therefore, you should go for it.
